Top Expat Destination 2015
As per yearly tradition, InterNations, Expatriates Insider survey asked 14,400 Expats around the world about their life abroad.
The results show that Ecuador tops the rankings, with Mexico occupying runners up spot. Malta was judged to be the third best place to live in with Singapore and Luxembourg ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
Expats were asked questions about different aspects of mundane life in their adopted home namely cost of living, personal finance, quality of life, ease with which they settled in, working abroad, and family life.
The major contributors to ensure Malta ranked high in the poll were the weather, working hours, work and life balance, and high levels of job satisfaction. With over 11,000 British expats making Malta their home, it is no surprise that the weather would be looked at very favourably with very few months requiring any heating whatsoever. The fact that Malta’s official languages are English and Maltese also make integration considerably easier than other European countries.

Hi
We have been looking at emmigrating to Malta. We need an english school for our seven year old daughter. Will a public school be sufficient. Do they teach in english?
